Mumbai: Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) will release its manifesto for the assembly elections on Gandhi Jayanti (October 2), party spokesperson Sachin Sawant has said. Menifesto will be released at a special function at party’s Tilak Bhavan office at Dadar by the AICC in-charge of the state, Mohan Prakash. Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC) too will kick start campaign on the same day, party sources have said. MRCC will hold a public rally in Dharavi in the evening. Meanwhile, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) too will release its manifesto for the state assembly elections tomorrow. The manifesto will be released by state unit president Sunil Tatkare and Dilip Valse-Patil, chairman of the manifesto committee.
