Mumbai : In a major breakthrough, city Crime Branch on Sunday detected murder of property dealer Vijay Pradhan, also known as Bunty Pradhan and his close associate Sachin Vijaykar. Agency officers claim here that Pradhan and Vijaykar were killed following a conspiracy hatched by dreaded criminal Subhash Thakur, currently lodged in a jail in Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh. Shooters sent by Thakur allegedly killed the duo this April.

“To kill Bunty, two shooters had come to Mumbai last year in December and their travel and stay related arrangements were made by Thakur’s man in the city. During February and March this year, the shooters twice tried to kill Bunty in Versova, but they failed. Finally in April they managed to kill him. When Bunty and his friend Sachin left Pushpak Bar in Mira Road area, the two assailants riding on a motorbike opened fire from a very close range.
