Charkop man held for raping daughters

Mumbai: The Charkop police have registered a case against a 45-year-old man for allegedly raping his two daughters. The accused, Ramesh Sharma, was arrested by the police and after his daughters, aged 21 and 12, along with their neighbours approached the Charkop police on Monday.

According to the police, the accused raped his elder daughter over several months, and after she started protesting, the father started targetting her younger sister. According to the police, the accused is a carpenter by profession and the family resides in Bhabrekar Nagar in Kandivali (West).
