Mumbai: The Central Railway will run eight more summer special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer. These special trains will ofer services at an extra charge between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Gorakhpur/ Varanasi. 1) Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus-Gorakhpur Weekly Specials (4 trips) Train No. 02047 weekly special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 4.40pm on May 13 and May 20 (2 trips) and will arrive Gorakhpur at 11.45pm next day.
Train No. 02048 weekly special will leave Gorakhpur at 8.50am on May 15 and May 22 (2 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 2.55pm next day. Halts: Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Barabanki, Gonda and Basti. Composition: One first AC, one first AC cum AC2-tier, one AC 2-tier cum AC 3-tier, 4 sleeper class and 10 general second class coaches. 2) CSMT-Varanasi Superfast Weekly Specials (4 trips)
Train No. 02055 Superfast weekly special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 5am on May 14 and May 21 (2 trips) and will arrive Varanasi at 7.30am the next day. Train No. 02056 Superfast weekly special will leave Varanasi at 10am on May 15 and May 22 (2 trips) and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai at 1.20pm next day.Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur and Allahabad Chheoki Jn.
Composition: 4 AC 3-tier, 12 sleeper class and 4 general second class coaches. Reservation: Bookings for train No. 02047 and 02055 special trains on special charges will commence from May 11 at all PRS locations and on website www.irctc.co.in.
