A 12-year-old boy was severely injured after a wall of a house collapsed in the Dahisar area of Mumbai on Saturday.
According to locals, the child is Roshan Vishwanath Bhoir, 12.
The boy was rescued by the locals and was rushed to the hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
Recently, an eight-year-old boy died after a part of the ceiling collapsed on him and his mother in Goregaon (W) in the wee hours on Friday morning. The boy, who lived with his mother and grandmother on the top floor of a seven-storied building on rent, was asleep when the incident occurred. Primarily, Goregaon Police have recorded an Accidental Death Report (ADR) in the matter and are conducting a probe.
According to Goregaon Police sources, the incident occurred at around 4 am on Friday, when a part of the ceiling of the seven-storied Aman Park Co-op Housing Society, near Ajit Glass Centre at Goregaon (W), collapsed. The building is looked after and maintained by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), as it houses the Project Affected People (PAP).
