Mumbai: Filmmaker Boney Kapoor escaped unhurt after his car collided with a tractor at Wai in Maharashtra while he was returning from a film shoot, official sources said on Thursday.

While his car was damaged in the mishap that occurred on Wednesday night, Kapoor did not sustain any injuries, they said. Kapoor, 59, was in Wai for the shooting of his upcoming home production ‘Tevar’, starring his son Arjun and Sonakshi Sinha. After the shoot was over, Kapoor was scheduled to leave for Mumbai. He was on the highway in his car with a boy (helper) and driver, when his car met with the accident at around 9 PM. The shooting of ‘Tevar’ is going on in Wai for quite some time. From May 18, the shoot will take place in Mumbai. Almost 80 per cent of the shoot is over.
