Palghar : The election atmosphere has become more intense in Vasai taluka, especially the Vasai constituency where strongly rooted ex-MLA of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi (BVA) Hitendra Thakur is contesting against the independent MLA Vivek Pandit. In spite of not contesting from Vasai constituency in 2009, Thakur enjoys impeccable influence and turned out to be more popular as a leader when it came to show of strength while filing nominations.
Pandit, an independent candidate, agreed and accepted the fact that it will require more than one party to join hands if they have to win assembly election from Vasai.
While speaking to FPJ, Pandit enveloped the fear of losing Vasai constituency with his belief in coalition. “I believe in coalition and it will require team work from all the other parties to come together and win this election.”
