Bhayandar: The driver of a Ford was seriously injured when a lorry laden with soil (debris) overturned and partially crushed his vehicle on the Ghodbunder Road on Thursday afternoon. The unusually freak mishap was reported near Hotel Fountain in Kashimira.
The driver of the soil-laden lorry lost control of the vehicle apparently due to a brake failure before overturning and partially burying the car. The car driver was rushed to a nearby hospital. The Kashimira police is conducting further probes.
