Mumbai: There is a last chance for those technical course aspirants who missed out on the admission process when it began. The government has decided to give an opportunity to candidates aspiring for engineering, pharmacy, architecture, hotel management and other undergraduate courses to make online registration, document verification and confirmation. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) had approached the state government for permission to make these candidates eligible for management seats. DTE had received a lot of requests from candidates to be included in the admission process. As per rule, since they had not registered or got their documents verified in the scheduled time they were not eligible for admissions to even management seats. The process has started on Saturday. The DTE will make available the final merit list for admission to institutional quota and vacant seats on 8 August. Thereafter, the candidates will have to approach the colleges for admission.
