Mumbai : The Wadala TT police are on the lookout for an unidentified man who allegedly kidnapped and raped a five-year-old girl in an open dumping ground in Sangam Nagar in Wadala late on Tuesday night.
Sources said that the girl, a resident of Vijay Nagar, was kidnapped from outside her residence at around 10 pm on Tuesday night by the unidentified accused.
The accused then took her to the open dumping ground in Sangam Nagar where he allegedly raped her. “The girl was found by a few residents in the area who informed the police. The CCTV footage has only captured the back of the accused which is making it difficult for us to identify him,” the source added.
