Mumbai : Residents of L and N wards will have to face 24-hour water cut. The L and N wards consist of localities in Mulund, Ghatkopar and Vikhroli. Due to major technical work that would be carried out by the BMC from 10 am on May 28 to 10 am on May 29, the water supply would be completely shut down.

Residents have been requested to store enough water to suffice till water supply starts on May 29 10 am onwards.

Following are the areas that would be affected as a result of this 24-hour water cut – L (West) Ward : Sane Guruji Nagar, Ashok Nagar,

Himalaya CHS, Hill No 2, Jangaleshwar Maharaj Road, Mohili Pipeline Road.

N (West) ward : Anand Nagar Parksite, Vikhroli Parksite, Ram Nagar, Golibar Road, Bhim Nagar, Katodi Pada, Ramaji Nagar, Bhatwadi, Barve Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Chirag Nagar, Parshi Wadi, Kaju Tekdi, Sarvodaya Nagar, Narayan Nagar.

Therefore, residents of these areas are hereby requested to store sufficient amount of water and use it carefully and co-operate with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
