Nashik: Who needs expensive, exhaustive and exit polls, when a look at what the stars and planets foretell is all that it takes. A conference on astrology is being held at Nashik, and the chief of the Maharashtra Jyotish Parishad, Maharshi Siddheshwar Maratkar, had a slew of political predictions to share.
For starters, Maratkar has predicted 2019 is going to be beneficial for the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief, Raj Thackeray. Further, Maratkar has said, in the forthcoming state assembly elections, his party will get double digit seats.
Thackeray may join hands with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and contest the elections as part of an alliance, the astrologer said. Raj’s horoscope, shows Jupiter in Sagittarius around the time of the assembly elections and this is going to prove beneficial for Thackeray, which augurs well for him and his alliance with theNCP will also get him votes from the Shiv Sena.
For the last few years, 2014-2019, Saturn was in opposition to the Sun in his chart and this period was not positive for Thackeray, as a result of which success eluded him. But in the forthcoming days, Jupiter will move opposite the Sun, benefiting him, Maratkar claims.
While the specific number of seats the MNS will win cannot be predicted, once the state elections are announced, Maratkar will do a second reading of Raj’s chart. Further, Maratkar predicted, “Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister once again, but his party will not get majority.
The Bharatiya Janata Party will get the most number of elected Members of Parliament and in Mahrashtra, the BJP-Sena will get fewer seats this time.” According to Hindu astrology, Modi is a Scorpio and his Jupiter is in a strong position currently, which is why he will be the PM again, said Maratkar.
