Pune : In the past two consecutive days, two students have committed suicide in Pune, revealing the state government’s apparent failure to prevent the suicides of students in the state.
In the Hivre area near Sasavde, a teenage girl named Akshada Nandakumar Limbore (17) ended her life by hanging herself. The reason behind her suicide is still unknown. But it is said that two boys have a hand to play in this extreme step that Limbore took.
The deceased’s uncle, Santosh Purshottam Limbore, has launched a complaint in Sasvad Police Station. According to police information, on Sunday around 9 am, the victim tied a rope to the ceiling of the house she stayed in and hanged herself from it. Immediately after the incident, the Sasvad police were informed about the incident. Limbore was an HSC student studying in the science stream. And while the exact reason behind her suicide is still unknown, it is alleged that two boys are involved in this incident. Constable RJ Kalbhor is investigating the case.
On Monday, another shocking incident took place in Pune when a 17-year-old boy named Saurabh Shamrao Bharekar committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of a building. Bharekar was studying in MIT Junior College and was also appearing for HSC in the science stream. He had his exam on Monday and his father dropped him to his tuition classes, Deepa Chemistry Class, in Kothrud. But Bharekar did not go to the tuition centre, instead ending his life by jumping from the sixth floor of the building. He was immediately taken to hospital, but doctors declared him brought dead.
