Pune: Two minor blasts took place in Pune on Tuesday morning in which one person was killed and three others were injured. One person was killed and three others were injured in another explosion at a scrap shop at Kondhwa in the city, police said. The reason behind the blast which occurred near Khadi machine square in the area is being investigated. According to sources, the second blast took place probably due to the inflammatory scrap material lying in the warehouse. Another incident took place wherein a two-wheeler rider was injured in a blast as chemical explosives were wrapped to his bike at Narayangaon village, around 77 kilometres from Pune, rural police said. The explosion happened when the bike owner Devidas Kale tried to start the vehicle this morning. The police are investigating the incident and the type of chemicals used to trigger the blast.

Police Inspector of Narayangaon Police Station said, “It is not a terror blast. We are trying to probe the motive. The materials used in the bomb are detonator and gelatin papers. Owner of the bike sustained injuries in the incident,” said the officer. SP Jay Jadhav and other officers rushed to the spot.
