Ujjain: Mayor Meena Jonwal, municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal leader of opposition (LoP) Rajendra Vashishtha, mayor-in-council member Dr Yogeshwari Rathore, corporator Atmaram Malviya and civic body staffers, youth beneficiaries and other officials concerned attended the inauguration of ‘Yuva Swabhiman Yojana’ on Friday at Vikram Kirti Mandir. On this occasion, the mayor said that registered youth will definitely get chance to work with civic body and will get opportunity to get experience.
LoP Vashishtah appreciated the scheme and underlined its benefits. Municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal asked youths to get registered with the scheme and take benefits. The programme was conducted by Raees Nizami and gratitude was expressed by Dr Yogeshwari Rathore which telecast live.
Collector convenes SCB’s meeting
Collector Shashank Mishra on Friday convened a meeting of Smart City Board (SCB) members. The meeting was attended by Commissioner Pratibha Pal, town and country planning joint director Sanjay Mishra, Ujjain Development Authority CEO Abhishek Dubey, smart city CEO Awadhesh Sharma and public health engineering department officials. During the meeting, assignments under Smart City project were reviewed. Projects like Mahakal Rudra Sagar development, interpretation centres and other projects were discussed.
