Ujjain: A workshop on Indian architecture and mudrain (gestures) concluded on Wednesday. The chief orator and former director of Vikarmaditya shodh peeth Dr Bhagwatilal Rajpurohit told the gathering that archeological evidences of Vikramaditya are available which show the glory of the Indian architecture. Ashvini Shodh Sansthan director Dr RC Thakur told that ancient coins tell the tales of the ancient era of Vikramditya.
The special guest of the programme principal Dr Mahesh Verma told that history guides us, while Law college principal Dr SN Sharma told that knowledge of history helps in keeping the culture of societies, intact. The principal of the college Dr Ulka Yadav in her presidential speech told that through workshop we got a chance to understand Vikramaditya era.
The welcome lecture was delivered by HOD Dr Ravindra Bhardwaj. The music students presented a Saraswati prayer under the guidance of DR Archana Parmar and Lokesh Vahne. The porgramme was conducted by Dr Bharti Jain and the vote of thanks was extended by Dr Ranjana Sharma. The workshop was organised by the history department of Government Girls Post Graduate College.
