A one day workshop and two day drama competition concluded on Thursday at Saraswati Shiksha Mahavidyalay. The workshop was presided over by Dr Smita Bhawalkar. Dr Bilquis Badhshah and Dr Badhshah demonstrated process of paper bag making in the workshop. The whole process of paper bag making was explained in the way so that even new leaners can pick up the craft easily, Badhshah said.

The students were told about the disadvantages of polythene bags and were advised to use cloth bag or paper bag. The spokesperson of the college told that over 800 teachers have been trained by the college. The two day drama competition was also held at the college premises in which the students took part with great enthusiasm. The students staged dramas like Jago Grahak Jago, Polythene Ke Dushparinam and Anna Hi Parbrahm among others.
