Ujjain: Unidentified women steal Rs 50,000 from State Bank of India premises

Ujjain: Unidentified women stole Rs 50,000 from bag of woman at State Bank of India on Friday.  According to Madhav Nagar police Saraswatibai (57) wife of Jagannath Rao and resident of Nagziri had gone to the SBI’s Tower Chowk branch to collect second instalment of Rs 50,000 of ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’.

After receiving the amount she kept the cash in her bag. As soon as she came out of the bank, three women allegedly cut her bag and took away the currency. The police are examining CCTV footage to identify miscreants. The police registered an FIR under Section 379.
