Ujjain: A record voting turnout was witnessed by the constituency during general elections held on Sunday. According to data available 75.33 per cent vote were cast across the 8 assembly areas of the constituency. 79.1 per cent votes were cast by male voters while 71.38 per cent votes were cast by female voters. Election commission issued its directives to all the collectors and district election officers across the state. According to new directives every round 500 postal ballots shall be counted and if the numbers of postal ballots are too many then extra tables will be setup for counting the postal ballots.
