Ujjain: Kharakuan police on Wednesday registered an FIR under Section 457 and 480 of IPC against unknown miscreants who targeted about half dozen shops located in Ruby Complex near the ancient Gopal Mandir and decamped with cash and kinds worth thousands of rupees.

According to information, some miscreants on Tuesday night broke the locks of shops located in Ruby complex near Gopal Mandir. Shop owners arrived in the morning and informed the police. These thefts were committed at Raj General Store and other shops. When shop owner Kamlesh Kumar Thani arrived he saw the locks of the shops broken. Marriage and worship items are sold in the shop.

However, it’s not known as yet what or how much was stolen by the miscreants. Because of no CCTVs in the complex, no evidence was found against the thieves. This is one of the main markets of the city and people are around and despite of this the thieves struck. From a long time theft incidents are occurring, but the police have hardly done anything concrete so far.
