Ujjain: Saint Umakant seeks liquor ban

Saint Umakant sought a complete ban on liquor till elections for fair elections. He was addressing followers at a religious satsang organised by Baba Jaigurudev Dharm Vikas Sanstha on Tuesday at Pingleshwar village. The programme will last till March 21.According to sources over 50,000 followers had reached venue till Tuesday.

The organising committee made all the arrangements for lodging and boarding of the followers. During sermons the saint inspired followers to maintain an arms’ length from non-vegetarian meal and liquor. He asked state government to impose a complete ban on liquor in the state.
