Ujjain: Results of 30th state-level school painting contest announced

Ujjain: The results of 30th State level school painting competition conducted in the memory Dr Vishnu Shridhar Vakankar Smriti were announced by the host Lokmanya Tilak Sanskriti Nyas.  The Nyas president Kishore Khandelwal said that this is the 30th year of the competition. Over 80 paintings were selected from the entries that come from different parts of the country. These paintings would be put up for exhibition from April 1 to April 3 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Khandelwal said that the judges of the competition Sushil Nimbark and Rajesh Yadav were from Udaipur and Dr Praveen Krishna Atre was from Badwah. Nyas secretary Bharat Vyas, chief executive officer Girish Bhalerao and principal Arun Shukla were present.

The Winners
The following were the winners-first prize Raja Khatri, Ujjain (Rs 15000), second prize Saurabh Soni, Indore (Rs 10000),  three consolation prizes- Eknath Choudhary, Ujjain, Paridhi Pratap Jain, Ashtha and Nitish Panchal , Ujjain (Rs 5000 each). In the same way Manav Sanket Academy also announced consolation prizes of Rs 1000 each to Pragya Durafe, Indore and Laghima Sharma, Ujjain.

The school level painting competition was judged by Chandan Yadav in which Ankita Gupta and Divyansh Meena stood first and second, respectively from primary, Vanshika Sharma and Priyanshu Parmar stood second from middle and Chetan Saria and Nisha Chopra came third from high school. The prize distribution ceremony will be held on April 4 at 9 am during the exhibition. The chief guest would be Shyam Pundalik from Jalgaon.
