Ujjain: Shri Sant Shiromani Ahirwar Ravidas Samaj Mahasangh held a meeting at Gurudwara Vrindavanpura on Friday. The meeting was presided over by Kmalkant Rajoriya. During the meeting the members demanded the main political parties- BJP and Congress to change their candidates of Ujjain-Alot and Dewas-Shajapur constituencies for the general elections. Vice president Vinod Chouhan said that both the parties have ignored Ravidas community but we demand that they should recognise our representation.
He further told that on Sunday protest would be staged on the occasion of Dr BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary at Tower Chowk. The meeting was conducted by Sunil Rajoriya while the vote of thanks by Vkram Parmar. Chouhan informed that on this occasion Suresh Kusumariya, Om Rajoriya, Dharmendra Jatwa, Omprakash Chouhan, Inderlal Jatwa, Narayan Parmar and hundreds of community members were present.
