Ujjain: Pilgrims robbed of belongings

Ujjain: On the occasion of Somwati Amavsya, thieves targeted pilgrims who were taking holy dips at Ramghat and Somtirth Kund in river Kshipra on Monda and made away with purses, mobile phones and other valuables. Pilgrim Gajarajsingh of Shajapur, Satyanarayan from Ujjain, Prasad Dattatrey, a resident of Pune, Lalsing from village Sodang, Vijay from Ujjain, Mehatab from Shajapur, Tejmal Mishra from Satna and some other victims lodged reports in this regard with Mahakal police. Police have registered FIRs in the matter and started probe.
