Ujjain: Devotees returned to the city after completion of their ‘panchkroshi yatra’ on Friday. The devotees after taking rest at Undasa padav began to arrive at the city from morning. The yatries were welcomed at many places across the city by many social organisations. Cold drinks, buttermilk and snacks were distributed to them by many organisations.
Huge assembly of devotes was seen at many ghats of river Kshipra ahead of Shanishchari Amavasya. The devotees took holy dip on Friday and will take the same on Saturday due to Shanishchari Amavasya. Civic body officials accorded warm welcome with flowers to the devotees at Koyala Fatak square where snacks were distributed to them also. The devotees were offered ice-cream at Mangalnath road by some social organisations.
