Indore: Get ready to furnish more details of asset

Ujjain: Municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal on Friday morning inspected zone offices to take stock of property tax collection. The commissioner visited zone number 6 and instructed the staffers to have friendly attitude towards the taxpayers and other complainants. She also instructed to clear pending cases. The commissioner said that on Saturday and Sunday, the zone offices will remain open from 9 am to facilitate the tax payers.

Civic body officials informed that recovery of property tax from the tax defaulters will continue and Rs 26,07,766 were recovered from big defaulters while Rs 4,11,958 from water tax defaulters.  Meanwhile, civic body removal gang removed encroachments from Hanuman Naka areas. Officials informed that the authorities also conducted anti-encroachment drive in other parts of the city. Regarding demonstration of EVM and VVPAT machines, the officials said that the machines are being demonstrated across the city and on Friday the machines were demonstrated in Zone number 1.
