Ujjain: One person died and six got injured in a road mishap, when a wheat leaden truck hit the car bound for Ajmer late on on Thursday at Goutampura Road under Ingoriya police station limits. According to police 26-year-old Abid, of Mhow, 27-year-old Samir, 27-year-old Mohsin, 27-year-old Samad, Asharaf, Mubarik and Shubham all residents of Indore, were on their way to Ajmer to attend the annaul Urs in their car, meanwhile a speeding truck hit their car head on. Following the accident Abid died on the spot where his six friends got critically injured.
The police rushed the injured to the district hospital and informed their kin on the basis of their identity proofs. The accident took place near Baledi village, in which the car was damaged badly. Six out three injured were referred to Indore later, due to their worsening condition. The truck has been seized while its driver succeeded in fleeing. A case has been registered against the driver and a manhunt has been launched to nab him.
