Ujjain: The newly constructed building of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) ‘Aradhana’ at Sardarpura will be inaugurated on Thursday at 5 pm. RSS sarkaryavah (general secretary) Suresh Joshi (Bhaiyyaji) will be the chief guest of the programme. The grand inaugural programme will be organised by Hedgewar Birth Centenary Memorial Trust. Bhaiyyaji will also address a meeting of Swayamsevaks at Madhav Seva Nyas and later he will inaugurate the building whose foundation stone was laid 15 months ago by him.
RSS office-bearers informed that the building was built with the financial help of hundreds of RSS workers. The RSS office was run in a rented room earlier. The newly constructed building will cater the requirements of the organisation. Cherishing memories, the RSS volunteers said that the construction work restarted which was hated due to emergency. In those days Padm Shri Dr Vishnushridhar Vakankar, Dr Kelkar, Shantalram Bhawalkar, Rajmal Jain and Shaligram Tomar were the personalities who helped in construction of the building, they said.
Bhaiyyaji to address symposium on education
The Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal has organised a symposium, “Challenges before education in present India” on Thursday from 10.30 am at Sanskar Bhawan, Rishi Nagar. Mandal’s Malwa region women cell head Dr Prerna Manana informed that Bhaiyyaji will be the key speaker. Mandal’s prominent functionaries including Mukul Kanitkar, Shankaranand and Aruna Saraswat will remain present. During the programme a souvenir ‘Kanakshringa’ based on Anterrashtriya Gurukul Sammelan will also be released.
