Ujjain: Subhas Chandra Bose is remembered as freedom fighter who lead the Indian National Army and fought the colonial British government bravely for the cause of freedom of country. He was remembered on his 131st birth anniversary by several social organisations across the city with patriotic zeal.
In a programme, Aazad Hind Panel garlanded the statue of hero of freedom fighter at Agar road near Charak Hospital. Mentor of penal and MLA Paras Jain remembered Netaji and distributed snacks at deaf and dumb hostel, Malanvasa. Dr Ghanshyam Sharma, Satish Rathore, Kishore Chabra, Rajesh Sahgal, and Rajaali Siddqui participated in the programme.
City Congress members gathered to commemorate the birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose at agar road. Members garlanded the statue of Bose and remembered him on the occasion. Leader Batuk Shankar Joshi, Satyanarayan Panwar, Anantnarayan Meena, Arun Rochwani, Anju Jatwa and Jitendra Goyal were present during programme.
Swarnim Bharat Manch and International Hindu Parishad also garlanded the statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and paid tribute to him. Manch’s Sahkeb Qureshi and Abhay Narwariya and Hindu Parishad’s Secretary Nandkishore Patidar and Yashwant Singh were present on the occasion.
