Ujjain: Malwa Rangmach Samiti will felicitate ‘Ashiqui’ fame musician Shravan Rathod with prestigious award ‘Malwa Sangeet Samman’ at Kalidas Academy on Saturday. Organisation head Keshav Rai said that Rathod was a prolific musician in 90s and composed music for super hit movies like ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’, Deewana, Raja Hindustani, Sajan, Dilwale, Phool aur Kante, Raja, Sajan Chale Sasural, Raj , Damini, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke and many others Senior theatre artist Prakash Banthiya will also be felicitated.
MLA Mahesh Parmar will preside over the programme and joint commissioner Pratik Sonwalkar and Govind Sharma, Om Khatri, Yogesh Sharma, Ravi Rai, US Chhabra, Alok Vashishtha Mahesh Sitlani , Harishing Yadav and Sudhir Goyal will be chief guests. Rai further said that a colourful musical programme will also be organised.
