Ujjain: Municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal convened a review meeting of officials and instructed them not to keep pending complaints and other problems of denizens for a long time. The ongoing construction project of the civic body should be completed within time, Pal said. The recovery of property tax should be expedited, she instructed the concerned officials.
She also told the officials to issue notices and bills to the property tax payers who have heavy tax dues. On this occasion additional commissioner Manoj Pathak, superintending engineer Pradeep Nigam and other officials were present.
Mayor dedicates garbage vehicles
Mayor Meena Jonwal on Monday dedicated door-to-door garbage collection vehicles. The mayor also inaugurated booking counters at Nanakheda bus stand for civic body run buses. On this occasion mayor in council members Mangilal Kadel, Radheshyam Verma, Geeta Choudhary and corporator Himmatsingh Dewda were also present.
