Ujjain: The commander of NCC Group Headquarters Indore, brigadier Vivek Sharma visited NCC 2nd unit MP Arty Battalion of VSM district here on Saturday.
Unit’s cadets presented a guard of honour to him. Following this group commander held a meeting with all NCC, ANO, PI staff and civil staff and inspected office, stores place, living place of unit. Unit co col Sudhir Singh provided an update on the activities and operations of the unit.
Sharma visited the NCC units of Madhav Arts and Commerce College and Madhav Science College with VSM unit co and subedar major and met principal, ANO and cadets and received information about admission and training of NCC cadets.
Before leaving for Indore, commander told unit office holders that NCC is the one and only uniformed organisation where along with social activities personality development, secularism, leadership, selfless service ideals and qualities are being inculcated to the future generation of the country.
