Ujjain: Minor girl raped, accused held

Ujjain: A minor girl was raped in a village under Chimanganj police station. According to police the girl was abducted by Durgesh (22) while playing outside her house. As the girl went missing, family members launched a search. Failing to find her anywhere, they approached the police and lodged a plaint. The police later recovered the girl from Durgesh’s house. The police registered an FIR against the accused under Section 366 and 376 of the IPC and relevant sections of the POCSO Act.
