Ujjain: Meritorious students of Bhartiya College feted

Ujjain: Meritorious students of Bhartiya College were felicitated in a function on Saturday. On this occasion the chief guest of the programme, educationist Dr Uma Vajpayee said, “ On seeing the names of girls in the merit list, a feeling of happiness overwhelms me, as when girls become educated , they can play a great role in building not just their own families but also the nation.”

Presiding over the programme professor of Hindi Dr Premlata Chutail told students, “It should not be the only aim to secure place in merit list, the promising student should set new goals after every success.” Girls should also play their roles actively in social and domestic domain, she added. On this occasion Krishnamangalsingh Kulshreshtha and other guests felicitated Himanshi Kunwar Rajput, Shalini Nagar, Lahar Nanwani and Pamleen Kour Munga for their achievements. The guests were welcomed by director Amrita Kulshreshtha. The programme was conducted by Girish Pandya and vote of thanks was delivered by principal Neelam Mahadik.
