Ujjain: Public health engineering department (PHE) incharge Kalawati Yadav convened a meeting of PHE officials on status of water supply in the city on Wednesday. During the meeting officials told about the present arrangements of potable water and present level of Gambhir Dam to Yadav. The meeting was held at PHE office located at Dewasgate. According to executive engineer Dharmendra Verma at present the dam has 168 McFt water and other water bodies can provide us only 200 McFt water, therefore the PHE can supply water on alternate day basis till June 30.
Yadav instructed the officials to provide water through water tanks in the areas where the water supply is not possible. She also instructed to complete under construction water tanks. During the meeting engineer Atul Tiwari, Rajeev Shukla and other officials were present.
