Ujjain: The retailers and other businessmen of Madhav Nagar area expressed their outrage against messy traffic arrangement in the area. Shaheed Park Vyapari Sangh head Rajesh Agrwal said, “Just as the new academic session started, the civic body officials started harassing businessmen by their punitive action on every small thing”.
Agrawal said that haphazard traffic troubles parents, businessmen and commoners. Customers are facing parking problem in the area. He further said that more than 400 handcart and kiosks owners have encroached the roads of the areas which create problem for customers and the shopkeepers. Agrawal also alleged the civic body employees who by hobnobbing allowed handcart owners to run their business on busy roads of the area.
Agrawal brought the matter in the notice of district collector, municipal commissioner and the SP for proper parking arrangements in the area. He also said that if the administration does not pay attention to their demand, the Vyapari Sangh will call for ‘bandh’.
CBSE schools give details of compliance of Section 144
Out of 53 CBSE affiliated schools, 36 have submitted their report regarding compliance of Section 144 to district education officer Sanjay Goyal. According to education department Imperial School Khacharod, Saint Joseph School Mehidpur, Podar International, Vidya Bhawan, Lokmanya Tilak, Jolly Memorial, Gyansagar Girls’ academy, Akshat International and Verginmary schools have reduced additional books, while 17 schools have not submitted their reports. Goyal instructed the schools to submit their reports which did not submitted by now. Additional collector Rishabh Gupta stated that those schools who did not reduce additional books will face legal action.
