Ujjain: Lokmanya Tilak Vidyalaya Vidya Vihar, (LOTI School) Neelganga’s annual magazine Sankalp was released during a programme on Friday. Noted medical practitioner Dr PN Tejankar was chief guest of the programme, which was presided over by Lokmanya Tilak Shikshan Samiti president Kishore Khandelwal.
Samiti’s executive officer Girish Bhalerao was also present on the occasion. Addressing the programme, Dr Tejankar said that no colleague can be better than the books. He expressed pleasure that the magazine focused at the theme, “Ideal student life style and Gandhiji”.
“On getting this edition of the magazine based on interesting and knowledgeable information related to Mahatma Gandhi will show a new way of life to students,” he noted. Khandelwal said that uninterrupted publication of school’s magazine has become a permanent tradition. He informed that special editions of the magazines on different themes were taken out during previous years, but publication of a new edition based on 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi will certainly proved to be a mile stone.
Samiti secretary Bharat Vyas said that those who cannot personally witness the activities of school can make opinion about the institution on going through the magazine. “Presently social media has diverted the students from their path, but they can move in positive direction by reading the content of Sankalp magazine,” he added. Earlier, principal Dr Arun Shukla shed light on the outline of the magazine. Aradhana Gandhara conducted the proceedings while Gyanendra Sharma proposed a vote of thanks.
