Ujjain: ISKCON employee duped of Rs 20 lakh

Ujjain: An employee of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was duped by his Facebook friend of Rs 20 lakh. According to Nanakheda police, Ashok Malik (46), a resident of Anand Nagar is working at the ISKCON and he befriended with a person in England.

When he came to Delhi, he contacted Malik and requested to deposit Rs 20 lakh in his account to settle some legal problem with custom department. He also promised to return the amount later. Malik later deposited Rs 20,19,799 in his account but his friend did not return the amount.

The victim lodged a complaint with Nanakheda police and a FIR under Section 420 and 34 of the IPC was registered against the accused.
