Ujjain: Gang which vandalised vehicles, busted

Ujjain: The police have busted a gang of miscreants on Thursday who have vandalised vehicles at various locations in the city with a motive to spread panic in the city. According to police the accused are habitual miscreants. They vandalised vehicles in Saint Kabeer Nagar, Basant Vihar, Vivekananand colony and other parts of the city to spread panic in residents of the areas.

Those arrested are: Gulshan alias Gopal (20), Sumit Jatav(20), Pankanj Akhand (19), Shivam Akhand(20) and Chetan Nirmal (19), all hailing from Vishnupura. The police told that Kishor Joshi, Babulal residents of Vivekanand Colony, Omprakas Rathore resident of Vishnupura, Sanjay Kewlani resident of Subhash Nagar and Mukesh Peshwani resident of Sindhi Colony lodged their complaints that their vehicles have been vandalized at Neelganga police station, following which the police had registered the FIRs against the miscreants under sections 294,427,147,149 and 509 of the IPC.
