Ujjain: Epic Mahatmayan released

Ujjain: Litterateur Dr Devendra Joshi’s epic Mahatmayan and a souvenir on Akhil Bharatiya Sadbhavana Vyakhyanmala were released during a function organised at Bharatiya Gyanpeeth premises here on Thursday evening. Guests including veteran journalist Lajja Shankar Hardeniya, Gandhian thinker Anil Trivedi, Gandhi Bhavan Nyas secretary Dayaram Namdev and eminent freedom fighter Prem Narayan Nagar released the epic and souvenir in the presence of an impressive audience.

In his epic Dr Joshi mentioned about various undiscovered aspects and stories related to Mahatma Gandhi.  In their speech, the guests said that poverty would have to be eliminated to make the country as Gandhi’s India. They felt that today’s India does not matches with how Gandhi dreamt of it.  Critic Shriram Dave also shared his views with the gathering. Guests inaugurated the event by garlanding the portraits of Gandhi and his wife Kasturba. KMS Kulreshtha delivered welcome speech. Amrita Kulsreshtha conducted the proceedings while Kranti Kumar Vaidya proposed a vote of thanks.
