Ujjain: Reiterating Kamal Nath government’s promise of providing high qualitaty higher education, minister for higher education, youth welfare and sports affairs Jitu Patwari asked the teachers to give education of democracy. He was addressing the annual function of Government Madhav College here on Tuesday afternoon. He said that government is committed for maintaining the glory of the teacher as they teach us art of governance.
He asked the students to follow the teacher-student relationship and discover the ways for progress by getting better education. He announced that MA political science will be taught in the college from next academic session. College principal Dr Hemant Nagdev delivered the welcome address.
Patwari inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp before the portrait of Goddess Saraswati. Those present included MLAs Mahesh Parma, Dilip Sing Gurjar, Murli Morwal, Ramlal Malviya, zila panchayat president Karan Kumariya and higher education regional director Dr RC Jatwa. Dr Jafar Mehmood conducted the proceedings while Dr Vikram Verma proposed a vote of thanks.
