Ujjain: Congress’ in-charge for Ujjain-Alote Lok Sabha constituency and former State Women Congress president Archana Jaiswal inaugurated the party’s election office during a programme organised at Rajeev Bhavan, Ksheer Sagar located DCC headquarters on Saturday. Addressing the party workers, she claimed that the BJP government at the Center is poised to go on the pattern of Madhya Pradesh government. She said that the BJP looks to be under depression over their sure defeat in these elections.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion include senior party leaders Manohar Bairagi, Batuk Shankar Joshi, Mahesh Parmar, Mahesh Soni, Kamal Patel, Babulal Malviya and Anju Jatwa. Devvrat Yadav conducted the proceedings and Jitendra Goyal proposed a vote of thanks. PCC media panelist Rajesh Tiwari informed that the central parliamentary office has been made fully hi-tech. Election office has been set-up on first floor while social media room, call center and press briefing hall has been set-up at the second floor.
CANDIDATE FAINTS IN BARNAGAR
Congress candidate from Ujjain-Alote Lok Sabha constituency and ex-minister Babulal Malviya fainted during a party programme at Barnagar on Saturday afternoon. He reached the spot by road and he suddenly fainted just as he started speaking at the programme. It caused a lot of commotion at the venue.
He was rushed to a private hospital where he was administered a glucose bottle in view of his low blood sugar-levels. MLA Murli Morwal was also present. Following his treatment, Malviya left for Ujjain at about 8 pm.
