Ujjain: Chakor Park dedicated to people

Ujjain: Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) opened the Chakor Park after renovation for denizens on Friday.  According to civic body officials entry fee of the park will be Rs 12 per person while children up to age of 5 years will be exempted from the entry fee. The entry will be allowed from 6am to 10am and 6pm to 9pm, they added.  The UMC officials held a meeting regarding maintenance of the park which was attended by additional commissioner Manoj Pathak, deputy commissioner Yogendra Patel, executive engineer Dharmendra Verma, officials concerned and staff members.

Voters’ awareness  drive reviewed
Deputy commissioner and nodal officer Sanjesh Gupta reviewed the voters awareness drive on Friday. He instructed the officials to make the drive impressive and told that during Panchkroshi Yatra the drive will continue to convey the importance of votes to the wayfarers devotees. On this occasion PRO Raees Nizami, zonal officer Yogendra Gagrade and other concerned officials were present. Meanwhile the civic body officials informed that EVM and VVPAT machines were demonstrated at Kalidas Udhyan located near Kartik Mela ground on Friday, likewise the machines were also demonstrated at government girls’ degree college located in Dussehra Maidan.
