Ujjain! Cattle deaths: Congress demands mayor Jonwal’s resignation

Ujjain: In the past two weeks more than 20 cows have been died. Though, collector has sent team of doctors to investigate the reasons of death of cows recently. City congress president Mahesh Soni and LOP Rajendra Vashishtha visited the Kapila Gaushala on Tuesday.

During the visit, both members found evidences of mismanagement in gaushala. Rajendra Vashishtha blamed the mayor for the plight of cows as she opened the gaushala without putting necessary accessories in place required for the welfare of cows.

He said, neither government nor city administration is able to manage the situation it seems that plight of cattle’s in Kapila Gaushala has been deteriorating day by day and there death numbers have been escalating at a fast rate. He said BJP board has failed in keeping the administration of gaushala and it has resulted in death of cattles. Soni demanded that mayor should take responsibility of failure and step down from post on moral grounds.
