Ujjain: The Akhil Bharatiya Brahmin Samaj (ABBS) on Sunday expressed gratitude toward the BJP-led Union government for providing 10 percent reservation in education and government jobs to unreserved economically poor people. ABBS also served an ultimatum to the Kamal Nath led State government saying if they continue to linger-on execution of this provision, a massive agitation will be launched across Madhya Pradesh.
A special meeting of the ABBS was convened in this regard at the Vikram University guest house. It was presided over by the ABBS president Pt Surendra Chaturvedi. On this occasion, MP Chintamani Malviya was greeted for his prompt support in favour of giving 10 percent reservation to economically poor people of the unreserved classes.
ABBS general secretary Pt Rameshwar Dubey, Narayan Upadhyayay Dharmadhikari, Bhagwan Sharma, Vishal Rajoria, Prerna Manana, Rekha Bhargava, Lata Sharma, Sukirti Vyas were among other present. Rakesh Tiwari proposed a vote of thanks.
