Ujjain : The members of Bhartiya Janata Party sang the national song ‘Vande Matram’ on Monday at Kothi palace under the leadership of district head Vivek Joshi and rural head Shyam Bansal. District co-media in-charge Dinesh Jatwa stated that singing of the song had been banned by the Congress led state government and the party members sang the song to protest against the ban.
Addressing the party members district BJP head Vivek Joshi said Kamal Nath government hurt patriotic feelings of crores of people across the state. The party condemned the act of the government which is an example of politics of appeasement. The Congress led government had to revoke the decision after a state wide protest against it. The BJP will always protest against any such decisions in future.
Babulal Jain, Jagdish Arawal, Om Jain, Iqbal Singh Gandhi, mayor Meena Jonwal, Sonu Gehlot, Anil Phiroziya, Vishal Rajoriya, Suresh Giri, Rajendra Jhalani, Roop Pamnani, Sachin Saxena, Chandravijaysingh Chouhan, KP Jhala, Amey Apte, Manoj Malviya and hundreds of party worker were present on this occasion.
