Ujjain: Bail application of accused in obstructing government on duty was rejected by a local court on Tuesday. Chief judicial magistrate Prempalsingh Thakur rejected bail application of Lakshmansingh (35), a resident of Urdupura and Rekha Panwar (42), a resident of Harinagar against whom a FIR was registered under Section 353, 294 and 34 of the IPC and Section 3/4 of MP Medical Act 2008.

According to prosecution media cell incharge the accused manhandled and misbehaved with Dr Deepak Marmat following a heated exchange over the treatment of patient Deepak Panwar on Monday. Advocate Amit Chhari appeared for the prosecution and opposed bail of the accused.
