Ujjain: Administration organised a training session of assistant returning officers (ARO) at Brihaspati Bhawan on Monday ahead of general elections. On this occasion deputy chief election officer Pramod Shukla and Commissioner Ajit Kumar were also present.
The commissioner has issued show cause notices to 7 AROs as they came late to attend the training session. The commissioner also issued the show cause notices to absent AROs.
The commissioner said that AROs should follow election moral code of conduct strictly. Deputy chief election officer Pramod Shukla also addressed the session and shared the important information pertaining to elections.
State level master trainer Sudeep Das provided training to the candidates through PowerPoint presentation. Dr VK Sukhawani, Dr BS Akhand, Rajendra Purohit, Pankaj Mittal, Girish Tiwari and other senior officials also provided guidance to the AROs.
