Ujjain: A Yellow line drive to prevent tobacco use in youth and students will be launched on Monday. Under the drive selling of tobacco will be prohibited in less than 100 meter of radius of any school and colleges in the city. The decision was taken by a district level tobacco control body in a meeting.
The meeting was attended by collector Shashank Mishra, Madhav Arts and Commerce College principal Prof Hemant Namdev, Shailendra Parashar, CMHO Dr ML Malviya and other concerned officials. According to MP voluntary health association there is a penalty of Rs 200 if someone consumes tobacco and smoke cigarette in a public place.
