Ujjain: 4 die, 6 injured as car plunges into ditch

Ujjain: A car plunged into a ditch on Ujjain Barnagar road near village Nalwa under Mahakal police station limits, on Friday. Following the accident 4 persons died on the spot while 6 persons got seriously injured. According to sources the passengers are residents of Dhar and were returning from Sanver after attending a funeral programme. According to eyewitnesses the car was being driven at a high speed which during a turn near village Nalwa rammed into a tree and plunged into a ditch, the car overturned after the accident. The injured were rushed to district hospital where they are under treatment.

Talking to Free Press Mahakal police TI Arvindsingh Tomar told that Rajesh Verma (25), Annu Baba alias Anil Yogi (20), Deepak Verma ( 20) all residents of Kanwan, district Dhar and Pravin Verma (30) resident of Indore died on the spot while Shubham(26), Govind(20), Shakti (25), Pradeep and Dharmendra (27) got injured following the accident.
